Must be familiar with automotive/heavy duty electrical systems

• Knowledge of HD Alternators and Starter motors 

• Fault finding skills 

• Operate fault finding equipment 

• Field repair work 
• De-bugging new systems 
• Manufacture Wiring harnesses 
• Harness finishing - Braiding 
• Harness installation 
• Terminating equipment/connectors 
• PLC ladder programming knowledge 
• Knowledge of logic circuits 
• Knowledge of electrical terms and language 
• Soldering 
• Operation of machinery under test 
• Knowledge of Electro-hydraulics 
• Knowledge of Electro-pneumatics 
• Remote telemetry 
• CAN-Bus systems 
• Able to work safely 
• Neatness essential 
• Pro-active 
• Eager to learn
